Fighting over “Footprints”

You’ve probably read the famous “Footprints” poem about seeing only one set of footprints in the sand during life’s more difficult times. I love this poem. It is so inspirational. I hate that this ugliness is now swirling around it. Author Unknown is how I have always known it. For some reason, at least to me, it added to the inspiration. (That someone wrote this and the words were beautiful enough to stand on their own.)

As for the lady saying she wrote it at age 6, hmmm . . . somehow I just don’t see that in the depths of this poem.
