If one who is in torment in the afterlife is concerned for the well-being of those on earth and intercedes on their behalf, how much more do the faithful departed in heaven intercede for us on earth. They do not have anything to do with us. Be sure you're talking to something else when you ask for intercession. The veil was removed so you can have access to God DIRECTLY. Why why needing dead to intercede then?
